저널내용 :  In this article the authors investigated the effect of Amyloid beta oligomers in blood–CSF barrier (BCSFB). The specific focus of this article was to detect inflammation in choroid plexus epithelial cells, hippocampus and CSF due to A-beta icv injection. They have also found that  BCSFB disruption induced by A-beta oligomers did not occur in the presence of a broad-spectrum MMP inhibitor or in MMP3-deficient mice. Also,  Alzheimer’s disease-associated soluble A-beta oligomers induce BCSFB dysfunction and suggest MMPs as a possible therapeutic target.
