저널 내용 : In this article, the author suggested the relation between gut dysbiosis and Alzheimer’s disease (AD) progression. Overall, they have demonstrated that altering gut microbiota composition leads to the peripheral accumulation of phenylalanine and isoleucine, stimulating the differentiation and proliferation of pro-inflammatory T helper 1 (Th1) cells. These cells then infiltrate into the brain and cause microglial activation and subsequent neuroinflammation. GV-971, a sodium oligomannate suppresses gut dysbiosis, harnesses neuroinflammation, and reverses the cognition impairment.
