논문내용 : Aging 및 rejuvenation model의 마우스에서 장내 미생물 메타게놈 분석을 통해, AKKermansia 미생물 군집과 butyrate 생합성이 rejuvenation에 중요한 영향을 미치며, AKKermansia의 경구투여를 통해 건강 수명 연장 가능성을 확인한 내용의 논문입니다.

저널제목: Pharmacological targeting of MCL-1 promotes mitophagy and improves disease pathologies in an Alzheimer’s disease mouse model.

저널정보: Nat Commun 11, 5731 (2020). https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-020-19547-6 

저널내용:  In this work, they have identified MCL-1 as a mitophagy receptor that can be targeted by the FDA-approved drug candidate BH3-mimetic UMI-77 to induce mitophagy and promote reversal of the AD pathology. Their findings suggest MCL-1 as a drug target for AD and further confirm that induction of mitophagy is a viable strategy for treating this neurodegenerative disorder.
